The Redmi K80 series is expected to launch soon.
The Chinese company has not announced a launch date yet, but Redmi’s General Manager has previewed the new lineup online. The upcoming series will feature the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, offering performance upgrades over last year’s K70 models. The Redmi K80 Pro is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Redmi’s General Manager, Wang Teng Thomas, teased the arrival of the new Redmi K80 series on Weibo. The series will include the standard Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, with earlier rumors suggesting the inclusion of a Redmi K80e model as well. The devices will run on the customized HyperOS 2 interface.
The upcoming lineup promises enhanced imaging, longer battery life, and improved displays compared to its predecessors. It will also have a redesigned look with a new texture and metal frame. Additionally, the Weibo post confirms that the Redmi K80 series will see a price increase.

The Redmi K80 Pro has reportedly scored over 3 million points on the AnTuTu 10 platform, while two other unnamed devices scored 2,832,981 and 2,738,065 points, respectively.
An image shared by the executive on Weibo suggests the Redmi K80 Pro will offer a higher configuration and price than competing models. The comments clarified that the K80 Pro will be priced lower than the OnePlus 13, which starts at Rs. 53,000.. For comparison, the Redmi K70 Pro launched at Rs. 38,000. The K80 Pro may also offer a higher configuration than the iQOO 13.
The Redmi K80 series is set to debut later this month. Both models are rumored to feature a 6.67-inch 2K display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and IP68 dust and water resistance. The Redmi K80 is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen SoC, while the K80 Pro may include the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
